Wi‑Fi won't connect

Safe basic checks when a device can't get online over Wi‑Fi.

  1. First, a safety check: is there any burning smell, smoke, sparking, or hot/visibly-damaged hardware? No, nothing physical
  2. Is Wi‑Fi turned on, and are you trying to join the correct network? Wi‑Fi is on and it's the right network

Restart your router: unplug it, wait 30 seconds, plug it back in, then wait about two minutes.
